Training and Showing
Kathleen Landwehr:
While Kathleen grew up in the suburbs of Northern Kentucky, she got into horses after she went to a horse day camp one summer. For the last 12 years, Kathleen has continued riding. She has ridden Western, Hunter/Jumpers, Dressage, and currently competes in Eventing. She has competed up to Training Level and is also a HB member of the Walnut Creek Pony Club. She has a 7 year old Thoroughbred gelding named Remi who she keeps down at college with her.
Kathleen volunteers around the Kentucky horse community, helping out at everything from the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event to a trail ride put on by the Northern Kentucky Horse Network. She also completed a semester as a volunteer intern with Central Kentucky Riding for Hope, which she truly enjoyed.
Kathleen loves Kentucky and everything the horse community has to offer. She loves Eventing and encourages anyone who is interested to come out to the Kentucky Horse Park and watch during a weekend of competition. It is very fun and exciting! The same can be done to view the numerous other horse disciplines that compete at the Kentucky Horse Park.
