Kathy Meyer:
The multi-breed show environment in Southern California exposed lifelong equestrian Kathy Knill Meyer to a variety of disciplines. As a youngster, she competed in dressage, stock, hunter, and saddle seat riding, and attended riding schools in England and in Germany. In her 12-year career professionally training Arabian performance horses, she turned out multiple National Champions until her retirement in 1986. Meyer has judged extensively in the U.S. and Abroad. She launched The Meyer Company in 1986, a successful sports and event marketing company and quickly grew a client list that included several Fortune 500 Companies as well as world-class events in skiing, golf, baseball, and private community development. She has served on the Board of Directors for the National Governing Body [NGB] of Equestrian Sport since 1989, and held the office of Treasurer from 1997-2007. In January 2008, Meyer joined the professional staff at the United States Equestrian Federation as the SVP Marketing and Communications.
